With New York Fashion Week now in full swing, we’ve seen plenty of celebs out and about in the city — but few actually give up the hotel name in which they’re staying. But we were able to track down a few of our favorite stars’ past haunts and found out out which luxury hotels in New York City have been their homes away home. Check out where stars have stayed for NYFW after the jump!
The Hotel: The Empire Hotel; New York City, NY
The Celeb: Whitney Port
Why Celebs Love It: Models and celebs will definitely be partying late-night at the Empire’s hip rooftop bar. One of the hottest nightlife scenes in Midtown, The Rooftop is open year-round and features gorgeous views of the Upper West Side. And it doesn’t hurt that the hotel is right across the street from Lincoln Center, the hub for NYFW.
Hotel: Gansevoort Park Avenue; New York City, NY
The Celeb: Rihanna
Why Celebs Love It: Whether they’re taking in the shows in February or September, celebs can enjoy a dip in the hotel’s indoor/outdoor heated pool any time of year. Complete with a sexy pin-up girl mosaic, the pool is not only a popular spot place for a swim, but the attached Plunge Bar is a celeb favorite (Kris Humphries was spotted there during happier times).
Hotel: The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel; New York City, NY
The Celeb: Victoria Beckham
Why Celebs Love It: Paps may be waiting outside, but with a strict policy on discretion, the staff at The Carlyle will never whisper a peep on which famous guests may be staying at the hotel (after all, JFK and Marilyn Monroe trusted their trysts to the hotel’s strict security). Plus, you feel incredibly pampered when staying here: White-gloved elevator operators bring you up to your spacious — and elegant — digs.
