Las Vegas is notorious for its bright, busy, and — well — ugly hotel carpets. And not just in the cheaper hotels: You can find them pretty much everywhere. It’s been hypothesized that the patterns are meant to keep people active, so that they keep gambling, but whatever the reason, the end result is dizzyingly unattractive. Take a look at 22 of the worst offenders.

I didn’t go to Vegas to see the conventional (and boring)!! I loved the variety in colour, pattern and the energy of the carpets. Las Vegas is not about reality and what the norm is. I am sure you would LOVE the flooring in most nursing homes!
