Love is in the air. After all, February is the month of love and Valentine’s Day is the day of love, so we can’t help but daydream about romantic getaways: Over-the-top luxury in Paris, quaint beachfront boutiques in Jamaica, sexy spots in New York City – they all mean romance to us. It may be a little late to be booking a romantic stay for this Valentine’s Day, but it’s never the wrong time to start planning your next romantic vacation à deux (especially if you’re in the doghouse for forgetting about today — this should help you out). Get inspired by our picks for the 10 most romantic hotels in the world, below or at USA Today.
This Eiffel Tower view is the perfect backdrop to a romantic night in.
You can’t think of romantic getaways and not consider Paris. The City of Love is full of romantic hotels, big and small, but Hotel Plaza Athenee outshines the others in setting the mood for couples. Nothing says romance like a view of the Eiffel Tower from your luxurious suite, and that’s just what you get at this iconic hotel. The 146 rooms and 45 suites are decorated in classic Art Deco style — picture draped curtains, gilded wall panels, and crystal chandeliers — with modern touches like flat-screen TVs and marble baths. And the top-notch Dior Institute spa features tons of couples’ treatments. Finish the day with a romantic meal at one of the six distinct restaurants.

Valentine's Day

Not tied down right now? Lucky you! Thankfully, you don’t need to sit home tomorrow night and be sad — hotels across the country are pulling out the stops for those who are currently sans significant other. We found three of our favorite hotels that are actually offering anti-romance packages. But, all of them have a catch — should you find a cutie tomorrow night, you can get down and dirty with them in one of the hotel’s rooms. Don’t you feel independent already?
THE HOTEL: Four Seasons Miami; Miami, FL
THE PACKAGE: The Lonely Hearts Club Group Dinner
The Grounds at the Four Seasons Miami; Miami, FL
If you’re looking to meet ready-to-be-met singles, head to the Four Seasons tomorrow (and if you work in Miami’s financial district, you pretty much have no excuse, considering how close you are) to mug down on delicious fare at the hotel’s brand-new restaurant, Edge Steak and Bar. While the dinner costs $65 per head, you do get a leg up on a hotel room: Should you meet your match while finishing up with your Broken Hearted Napoleon (with passion-less fruit sauce, natch), the Four Seasons outpost is offering rooms at $469/night.

Valentine's Day
Hey — have you heard? Valentine’s Day is next week. And if you haven’t made plans for your significant other — or just a newer two-some — it’s time to get on it! Our ideal date would simply be a night in a top-of-the-line suite in one of our favorite cities (especially this time of year..brrrr), Miami. We found our five fave rooms to make some sweet, suite love in.
The Junior Suite at the Dream South Beach; Miami, FL
THE SEX APPEAL: Tricked-out lighting and offbeat decor set the tone at this funky addition to the South Beach hotel scene. Although the sitting and sleeping spaces are actually combined, the oversize, plush king bed makes for a fantastic sleep — and should things get hot and heavy on the couch, it’s not far to the bed. If it gets really hot, there’s even more good news: The Dream has windows that actually open for a delicious breeze. Head upstairs to Highbar for a nightcap on one of their retro wicker lounges before holing up in your suite for the night.
THE PRICE: $995/night

Sun and sand is great and all, but some (us included) would argue that a beachy setting gets better when the clothes come off. Think of a nude beach as your new and improved wingman — its mere presence allows you to skip the whole how-do-I-get-him-or-her-out-of-their-clothes predicament. So come and get the skinny on our favorite nude beaches.
The beach at ONE Bal Harbour Resort & Spa; Miami, FL
WHY WE LOVE THE BEACH: Though Miami is topless-friendly just about everywhere, Haulover Beach is the only true nude beach in this spring break hotspot. The waters are crystal clear, the soft sand is debris-free, plus there are tons of on-beach amenities. Haulover has lifeguards (in swimsuits, unfortunately), food and drink vendors, and plenty of organized activities like birthday-suit volleyball, although we recommend not going for the save.
WHY WE WANT TO STAY HERE: Less than a 5-minute drive from Haulover Beach, ONE Bal Harbour has a prime location for seeing some skin. Plus, this luxury resort has massive suites, a 10,000-square-foot spa, and over $4 million dollars worth of modern art.

THE LUSTY AMENITY: The Clothing-Optional Pool
The Clothing-Optional Lower Pool at the Ventana Inn & Spa; Big Sur, CA
The Ventana Inn & Spa is all about creating a zen, holistic retreat with such offerings as yoga classes, discovery walks, afternoon wine and cheese, Japanese baths, and two pools. Forgot to pack your bathing suit? No problem! One of the pools is clothing-optional (read: everyone’s in their birthday suit), so it’s easy to dive in and feel sexy. Valentine's Day
The pool won't be open on Valentine's Day, but the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino knows how to throw a good party in any season.
Valentine’s Day is a day for candlelight dinners, heart-shaped chocolates, and bubble baths for two …for some people.
This year, we want to inspire single folks everywhere to forget about roses and reclaim February 14th as their own. After all, if couples get a weekend to celebrate love, then singles should get a weekend to celebrate the fun and freedom that is being single.

Whether you’re looking for a beach or a party, we’ve got a perfect singles getaway hotel for you. Below you’ll find our favorite picks for Miami, L.A., Las Vegas, and New York City, all of which still have availability for Valentine’s Day weekend.
