For those of you who can’t get enough of our Photo Fakeouts, check out Oyster CEO Elie Seidman as he discusses with ABC’s ’20/20′ the various tactics hotels can use to misrepresent reality in their online marketing. Photo-shopping, distortion and cropping, oh my!

I saw the Oyster description of this piece somewhere else this morning, “Oyster CEO Elie Seidman as he discusses with ABC’s 20/20″.

Elie looked like a female name, but the text said “he”.

Now I see Elie looks rather feminine too.

What an idiot I am.

Obviously I had not watched the video or I would have seen that Elie is clearly a man and not the woman shown in the video still. I have to work on my investigative reporter skills.
