Boston is beautiful in the summer, and some of our favorite Beantown hotels are on sale now — perfect timing for planning a summer weekend getaway. Below are four beautiful Boston hotels we highly recommend.

The below prices are for the weekend of July 16 through 18, just to give you an idea of each hotel’s rates. But prices are great throughout the month of July (and perhaps even beyond if you’re lucky), so click the “Book Now” button and then change your dates to see prices for your specific travel dates.

Taj Boston

  • List Price: $324 per night
  • Sale Price: $259 per night
  • Location: Back Bay

Bought from the Ritz-Carlton in 2007, the Taj Boston holds on to the Ritz’ elegant look, but also offers some superb perks, like chenille bathrobes and free rides in the house Jaguar. Given its free business center, well-equipped gym, and ideal location bordering the Public Garden and the swank boutiques along Newbury Street, it’s an excellent luxury pick. Langham Hotel Boston

  • List Price: $318 per night
  • Sale Price: $254 per night
  • Location: Downtown and Waterfront

A former Federal Reserve bank turned luxury hotel in the grey, sterile Financial District, the Langham boasts immaculate, distinctively Bostonian rooms, spot-on service, and a stellar spa, but a lack of modern features like flat-screen TVs and Wi-Fi, plus significant street noise, keep it from attaining perfection. The Eliot Suite Hotel

  • List Price: $428 per night
  • Sale Price: $385 per night
  • Location: Back Bay

Just around the corner from Newbury Street, this French-inspired, 95-unit Back Bay boutique offers mostly spacious, elegant suites with (smallish) marble bathrooms, a well-regarded French restaurant and sashimi bar, free passes to Boston Sports Club, and in-room touch-screens through which guests can make lots of service requests. W Boston

  • List Price: $367 per night
  • Sale Price: $293 per night
  • Location: Back Bay

With large, stylish rooms, a Jean-Georges restaurant, a happening bar, and a Bliss spa on the way, the brand-new, 235-room outpost of the trendy brand offers a striking, modern alternative to Boston’s historic hotels and traditional chains. Too bad it lacks the unique charms of smaller boutique properties. Read the full W Boston hotel review.
